Thank you to our loyal Members who have been submitting to our Group for a long time now. Without you, we wouldn’t be here.



Additionally, it is much more usual that our Monthly Top Submissions are OPEN TO VOTING by ALL MEMBERS!  
But, there are a few times a year, when it is an Administrators’ Choice Month.  
December 2011’s was voted in this way, and I want to thank our Admins., where most ALL voted and therefore made this a success for us.

January 2012’s Top Submissions should be back to The ALL MEMBER VOTING Process! The instructions will change a little since we are NOW a multiple-folder system, but it won’t be difficult.

Anyway, please respect the Admin. Choices for December 2011, as it was NOT easy for them at all- it never is.

Let’s continue to submit our own BEST QUALITY work, enjoy it, improve upon it, enjoy the work of others, and Nature in general. It’s what it’s all about- combining our art with our love of Nature, and coming together under that commonality!

Group Reminders

We have just re-opened after time away, and re-doing some things around here!
We are an ALL-Media Group, but NOT all Subjects. MUST be ALL Nature-Related. Read more inside the LINK provided just below.
DO submit your BEST QUALITY work, we aren’t an elitist group, but we do want your best quality, please!
DO NOT Submit to the Featured Folder, as Currently it is being used for Group Donors.
DO Submit Birds to the folder labeled WITH Birds etc., even though most birds are considered “Wild”...
We are MORE strict in 2012, than in 2011, with Architecture and will NOT be allowing in nearly as much...  We have certain restrictions with humans, bridges, boats, etc., as well.

Our GROUP’S CONTEST at Unframed-Nature
New Permanent Group Avatar Contest!

Two Entries per dA Member.
You do not have to be a Group Member, but everyone is welcomed to JOIN!
Starts: Sun. January 15th; Ends: Sat. February 11th, 2012 Pacific Standard Time: wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time… [ 4 weeks! ]
It is recommended that if two Avatars ARE submitted for this Contest, one of the two might have a ladybug as part of it, or a ladybug theme, in case our Members DO want to keep to our original roots from club days,
as Members will be voting.
And I alone cannot and will not speak for all of the Members.
The other of the two, probably should NOT be ladybug themed.
If submitting only one, it’s up to you as long as it is NATURE!
The avatar could be digital, traditional, or photography, etc., it could animate or not... THAT part is pretty much up to the Artist!
[We ARE All-Media! ]
But, it MUST clearly have a VERY DEFINITE NATURE THEME to represent our wonderful Group!
And it should have the Group’s NAME: Unframed-Nature, spelled out, in it.
Be creative and unique. I don’t think we want it to look too much like any other Nature Groups either.
State in Artist Comments: “This is for Unframed-Nature’s Group Avatar Contest.”
Needs to be 100 x 50 pixels to fit.

The MEMBERS get to vote! The MORE who do, the better chance we get what most of us would want!
Details on voting later on.
But basically, it will be by a Private Note, maybe assigning points to first choice, etc.,
No people, architecture, etc. or mature content in the avatars.
I’m sure all that goes without saying...
